The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, terminated, this Wednesday, June 5, the functions of Mr. Mohamed Bouakkaz, advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of the General Directorate of Protocol, announces a press release from the Presidency of the Republic
“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, terminated, today, the functions of Mr. Mohamed Bouakkaz, advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of the General Directorate of Protocol, for serious misconduct and breach of ethics of the profession”, we read in the press release which does not specify the nature of the faults.
Bouakkaz was appointed to this position in December 2019 and then reappointed during the last restructuring of the directorates of the presidency of the republic in October 2023.
