⚠️ Tehran on Fire: Regime Gunfire Leaves HUNDREDS Dead as Nationwide Protests Explode
Reports out of Tehran describe a brutal escalation: opposition-linked medical accounts cited by Time say more than 200 people may have been killed in the capital alone as security forces fire live rounds into crowds.
Independent trackers are urging caution on exact totals while warning the reality is likely higher than what can be confirmed under a blackout. Iran Human Rights says at least 51 protesters, including children, have been documented killed so far, with additional reports of dozens more deaths in Tehran and other cities still being verified.
The regime is also trying to blind the country. NetBlocks-linked reporting says Iran has slipped into a nationwide internet blackout, cutting off communications as protests spread and clashes intensify.
And instead of owning the bloodshed, Tehran is pointing outward: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi publicly accused the U.S. and Israel of “fueling” the unrest during remarks in Beirut—classic blame-shifting as the Islamic Republic struggles to contain a population that’s had enough.
