The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision that will allow the purchase of electronic warfare equipment for the protection of critical infrastructure facilities.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at the meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities.
He said that the authorities are focusing on three directions in the field of energy against the background of constant Russian attacks:
Quick repairs and restoration of generation and distribution facilities;
Decentralization of the energy system (120 mini-CHPs have already been installed in Ukraine);
Strengthening of air defense.
“The government has adopted a decision that will allow financing the purchase of EW for critical infrastructure objects,” the head of the Cabinet clarified.
Also, according to Shmyhal, the government allocated another 3.88 billion hryvnias for fortification, 2.5 billion hryvnias for the construction and arrangement of shelters for this year.
At the same time, the budget provides for more than 40 billion hryvnias to support and restore the country’s economy.
