⚡️🇺🇦🇮🇱🇷🇺 The Chief Rabbi of Kyiv Jonathan Markovitch has sent an urgent letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling for intervention with the Kremlin to stop Russian military strikes on Jewish sites in Ukraine.
The appeal follows repeated recent attacks, including the shelling of a Jewish cemetery in Kharkiv last week.
Rabbi Markovitch stated that the holy sites of the Jewish people must not become a war zone, requesting Netanyahu to demand Russia cease firing on Ukrainian Jewish institutions.
