🇻🇪🛠❌🇻🇪 — The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) denounces the repression by Maduro’s Regime in Venezuela and calls for Resistance against the Chavista Authorities, after another of its members was kidnapped by agents of Venezuelan Intelligence inside his house

The Communist Party of Venezuela rejects the arbitrary detention of Nicmer Evans, political scientist, social communicator, and defender of freedom of expression.

Evans, director of the digital media outlet PuntoDeCorte.net, is under forced disappearance. This is a practice that has been normalized by Nicolás Maduro’s authoritarian administration.

Evans’s case is added to that of the union leaders José Elías Torres (CTV), William Lizardo (Fetraconstrucción), and Arnoldo Méndez (Coalición Sindical), who have been disappeared since late November.

We demand information on the whereabouts of the detainees, respect for their rights, and their immediate release.
