The coordinated joint work of the engineering and sapper units of the State Special Service of Transport together with the 808th separate support brigade of the Support Forces Command is aimed at accelerating the clearance of de-occupied territories of Ukraine from explosive objects, which gives good results.
For more than five months, sappers of the State Special Transport Service, together with the mechanized demining company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, use the GCS-200 machine to pass meter by meter of agricultural land every day.
This Swiss-German unmanned multi-purpose platform is controlled remotely. During demining, mines are detonated or destroyed by a working mechanism that has a number of modifications and is used according to the conditions in which it works. GCS platforms have proven to be a reliable and effective means of demining.
It withstands detonations of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, thereby saving human lives.
