The head of European diplomacy, Borrell, emphasized that it is more cost effective to provide Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine than to undertake the costly endeavor of rebuilding a thermal power plant destroyed by Russia.
“Before discussing the reconstruction of Ukraine, we must prevent its destruction. Investing in Patriot systems is more economical than reconstructing a power plant targeted by the Russians,” he stated.
