🇺🇸🇮🇱 The House will vote on an anti-1A bill introducing fines or prison terms for Americans who participate in boycotts of Israel or Israeli settlements.

The bill, sponsored by pro-Israel Congressmen Mike Lawler and Josh Gottheimer, seeks to expand existing US anti-boycott laws by targeting voluntary political actions taken by private citizens.

The proposed IGO Anti-Boycott Act would impose civil penalties up to $300,000 and criminal penalties including fines up to $1 million and up to 20 years of imprisonment for boycotting Israel.
