The IDF reports that reservists from the 55th Paratroopers Brigade uncovered and destroyed a cache of weapons during recent ground activity in southern Syria.

Called up in recent months for “proactive defense missions” under the 210th Bashan Regional Division, the brigade has been tasked with protecting Israeli communities — especially those on the Golan Heights.

While operating across the border, the soldiers found rocket components, RPGs, and additional firearms. The military says all of the weapons were swiftly neutralized.
