The Israeli military has responded to a video circulating online, in which a masked reservist threatens to disobey orders unless the government achieves what he calls a “complete victory” over Hamas. The military views this behavior as a severe breach of IDF regulations and values, potentially constituting criminal activity.

According to the IDF, “The behavior in the video is a serious violation of IDF orders and IDF values, and constitutes a suspicion of criminal offenses.” In light of this, the Military Advocate General has instructed the Military Police to launch an immediate investigation.
