🇮🇳🇺🇸The Ministry of Defense of India has suspended the acquisition of an additional batch of Boeing P-8I Neptune (Poseidon) UAVs.

The Indian Navy owns a fleet of 12 P-8I and planned to acquire 6 more (under the American Foreign Military Sales (FMS) intergovernmental program) additional aircraft, but the price increased from 2.4 billion dollars in 2021 to 3.6 billion by July 2025, which clearly did not satisfy the Indian side, + Trump contributed by imposing a 25% tariff on Indian goods.
