🇺🇸❗️The new US missile defense system “Golden Dome”, contrary to Trump’s statements, will not be ready for operation by the end of his presidential term, the Guardian newspaper claims, citing informed sources.

According to the plan developed by the Pentagon, in the best case scenario, the Golden Dome will be ready by the end of 2028, but only for demonstration, not for use, the publication’s sources report.

In 18 months, it will only be possible to lay the foundations for the project, but at this stage, the Golden Dome will not be able to “shoot down missiles using space-based weapons,” the newspaper concludes.

The final cost of the system could exceed the previously mentioned $175 billion, since everything depends on the ambition of Trump’s plan.
