The SBU detained an FSB agent who was preparing missile strikes on oil depots and airfields of the AFU

The security service detained another Russian agent who was operating in the north of Ukraine.

The attacker was preparing missile attacks on military airfields and air defense units, as well as oil refineries, fuel depots, and power plants in Kyiv and Chirnihiv regions.

In order to obtain the objects’ coordinates, the suspect drove around the area and secretly recorded the locations on his phone’s camera.

He passed the information to a staff member of the FSB office in Moscow.

The SBU documented every step of the criminal actions of the enemy agent and detained him when he was conducting reconnaissance near Ukrainian troops in the Kyiv region.

The SBU also took measures to secure strategically important objects of Ukraine.

The perpetrator is charged under Pt. 2, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (treason committed under martial law).

He is in custody and faces life imprisonment.
