🇺🇦❌🏳️🌈 — The Tradition March, as opposed to the KyivPride Gay Parade, was held in Kyiv
➡️ Men, women, adults, youth, war veterans — a large number of nationalists and conservatives gathered on Independence Square and marched down the capital’s main street, Khreshchatyk, in defense of family values and against LGBT ideology
➡️ At one point, the police blocked the passage of Ukrainian nationalists down Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, but were still forced to give way.
➡️ On social media, Nationalists and Traditionalists complained about the number of police officers deployed just to separate the marches, and how much military equipment they had, given the war situation
➡️ At the end of the Tradition March, speeches were made.
➡️ In turn, the LGBT parade, which Ukrainian Nationalists opposed, lasted less than an hour after its start, gathered significantly fewer visitors, and, surrounded by a large number of police, only went 100 meters, after which it ended and was disbanded
