Despite Germany’s promise to supply Ukraine with 12 more PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, a significant portion of the systems already delivered remain inoperative due to wear and tear. According to BILD, Ukrainian soldiers are complaining about a shortage of spare parts, especially the barrels, which are extremely worn out after intensive use, including during the battle for Bakhmut in 2022.
