🇺🇸The US Army intends to impose fines on American companies Northrop Grumman Corp. and Global Military Products Inc. for delays in supplying large-caliber artillery shells intended for Ukraine, reports Bloomberg. The contracts for the supply of weapons were concluded in 2022.

The decision was made based on the recommendations of a report by the Pentagon’s inspector general, which revealed delivery delays of up to 18 months. The total amount of fines proposed for collection is approximately $1.1 million. It is not known what proportion of the fines will be imposed on each of the companies.
