According to him, the resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the stabilization of the situation in Venezuela, and the normalization of the situation around Iran will help reduce oil prices.

“Thanks to peace agreements, I think we will be able to see a significant drop in oil prices. If the issues with Venezuela, Iran, as well as Russia and Ukraine are resolved, this will result in a huge amount of oil being removed from the sanctions of the Treasury Department and being able to enter the market,” explained Bessent.
