Forest fires in Tipaza:
Civil Protection teams managed, on Friday, to control all the fires that broke out on Thursday in several forests in the western region of the wilaya of Tipaza, announced the wilaya director of this body, Ibrahim Kaouas.
In a statement to the APS, Mr. Kaouas explained that after nearly 36 hours of large-scale extinguishing operations for which Civil Protection mobilized all its human and logistical resources, in coordination with other services, since midday on Thursday, all outbreaks have been completely brought under control in the forests of the communes of Beni Meulik, Larhat, Messelmoun and Hadjret Ennous.
