Triki en bronze au triple saut – Le Jeune Indépendant

The Algerian Yasser Triki won the bronze medal from the final of the Triple Jumper League competition, by making a jump measured at 17.42 m, Thursday in Zurich (Switzerland).

With this performance, the triple Algerian jumping improves its best performance of the season (17.29 m), less than a month before the start of the 2025 Worlds, planned in Tokyo.

The gold medal of the triple jump competition returned to Italian Andy Diaz Hernandez (17.56 m), while the silver charm was the work of the Portuguese Pedro Pichardo (17.47 m).

A second Algerian will be hired during this final stage in the 2025 diamond league. It is Djamel Sedjati, bronze medalist at the Olympic Games in Paris-2024, which will be aligned on the 800 meters (8:20 p.m., Algerian hours), alongside the greatest current champions of this specialty, in particular, the Canadian Marco Arop, the Kenyan Emmanuel Wanyonyi, The Spaniard Mohamed Attaoui, and the Americans Josh Hoey and Bryce Hoppel.

Strong competition, which should give rise to a quick race, with perhaps a new record for the key, especially since most of the candidates have displayed a dazzling form in recent weeks.
