UK issued an updated travel advisory for Lebanon, expanding and reaffirming warnings that now cover large areas of Beirut and its suburbs, southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and the Baalbek-Hermel and Akkar governorates.The update advises against all travel to much of the south and border regions and against all but essential travel to parts of Beirut and other affected areas, citing the deteriorating security situation, risk of escalation, and the potential for sudden violence.
