Ukraine’s air defence downs 24 Shahed drones, one still in airspace

Russia has launched nearly 30 kamikaze drones at Ukraine in the night of 12-13 September, with air defence forces destroying 24 of them.

Details: The Russians attacked with 26 Shahed strike drones (launch areas: Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea).

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of Ukraine’s defence forces downed 24 Russian strike drones over Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Khmelnytsky and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.

The Air Force reported that as of 09:00, combat efforts were still ongoing as one Russian UAV remained in the airspace.
