Ukraine’s Security Service conducts searches at Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) is conducting searches at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, also known as the Monastery of the Caves, today (9 February).

Details: A source said that the SSU approached a clergyman who coordinated staged protest actions when the leased property on which the Lavra sits was returned to state control.
