Un camion-citerne contenant du bitume prend feu à Oran – Le Jeune Indépendant


Oran’s civil protection intervened quickly this Sunday to turn off a fire truck loaded with bitumen, within a specialized factory located in an industrial activity area. This effective intervention made it possible to avoid any human damage and to prevent the spread of fire, thus guaranteeing the safety of workers and surrounding infrastructure. This was indicated by a press release from the intervention service.

A fire broke out yesterday at 10:50 am in a tank truck carrying bitumen, within a production plant located in the activity area of the commune of Karma, in the district of ES-Senia, specifies the emergency forces.

The civil protection intervention brigade immediately dispatched its teams to the scene. Thanks to this rapid and coordinated intervention, the fire was quickly controlled, preventing its spread to other facilities. No injuries have been reported, underlines civil protection.

To cope with this fire, the firefighters mobilized five trucks as well as an ambulance to ensure full management of the situation and guarantee everyone’s safety.
