A 45-year-old man lost his life in a fire that broke out this Monday at midday, in a greenhouse for livestock breeding located in the locality of Békira, in the commune of Hamma Bouziane, north of Constantine.
The fire also caused the loss of several lambs, we learned from the civil protection communication unit, which dispatched emergency services to the scene of the tragedy from the secondary unit of Hamma Bouziane.
The emergency services succeeded, specifies the same source, in saving a few sheep before containing the fire.
The victim was taken to the local hospital.
The reasons for the tragedy remain unknown. Note that the heat wave that has hit the region in recent days has relatively subsided over the last 48 hours.
