“A model of fruitful Arab cooperation”

Algerian-Qatari relations:

The President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azouz Nasri, affirmed Tuesday evening that Algerian-Qatari relations constitute “a model of fruitful Arab cooperation”, welcoming “their continued development in various fields”.
In a statement to the Qatari Press Agency (QNA), on the sidelines of his participation in the 2nd World Summit for Social Development, which is being held in Doha, in his capacity as representative of the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Mr. Nasri stressed that Algerian-Qatari relations are “a model of fruitful Arab cooperation and mutual understanding”, highlighting “their constant evolution in different areas thanks to the vision and orientations of the leaders of the two country”.
The two countries share “a common vision regarding support for the causes of sustainable development and joint Arab action,” he added, highlighting the importance of “strengthening cooperation and parliamentary and diplomatic coordination between the two countries, in order to consolidate security, stability and prosperity in the region and in the world.”
Furthermore, Mr. Nasri indicated that Algeria “has adopted public policies of a social nature aimed at ensuring care for health, education, as well as support for youth and women”, recalling that “more than 12 million Algerian students benefit from free education, transport, catering and health care”.
Regarding Algeria’s participation in this Summit, the President of the Council of the Nation specified that it is part of “Algeria’s commitment to actively contribute to international efforts aimed at promoting social development and establishing justice and equality between peoples”.
