Une bouffée d’oxygène – Le Jeune Indépendant

The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, who was on a working and inspection visit to Tizi-Ouzou this Monday, told ENIEM workers and executives strongly insisted on the need to use the money granted by the State for the sole purpose of ensuring the resumption of production of household appliances.

“This money must in no way be used for a social purpose,” insisted the minister to the managers and workers of this company. Ali Aoun also conveyed to his interlocutors “all the interest shown by Abdelmadjid Teboune in safeguarding the ENIEM of Oued-Aïsi”.

“Mr. President of the Republic wanted this complex to return to its natural place which it occupied until the years 2008/2010, colossal efforts were made through the substantial financial envelope which was made available , noted the minister. “This financial envelope, he added, will have to be used in a serious and rational manner, that is to say for production and not for the payroll in order to guarantee the sustainability of this complex in which we contain a lot.

Addressing the social side, Ali Aoun was once again categorical: there will be no new Aoun since the number of workers has been drastically reduced. On this level, the minister will focus on advancing new perspectives (jobs), “as soon as the complex restarts in a satisfactory manner. It should be noted that ENIEM has entered into partnerships with Chinese, Turkish and Lebanese groups.

Finally, regarding the production of type 9000 and 1200 air conditioners, their production is planned for the year 2025. At ENEL in Fréha, the minister did not hide his disappointment at the delay experienced by the company in the launch of work on the new factory. This factory, the construction of which is carried out in partnership with SONELGAZ at a rate of 15% and the Indian group, Vijai Electricals for the production of large transformers.

The entry into production of this factory is planned for the year 2026, one year after the presentation of the first prototype. Ali Aoun criticized those responsible for having experienced a lot of delay in the progress of the factory’s work, but especially the long time it took for the workshops to begin production.

The minister spoke of “intellectual laziness” which means that some officials lack motivation and a spirit of initiative.

Note also that an ENEL trade unionist requested help from the public authorities with the sale of large stocks of old-made transformers. The minister, without amphibology in the expression, assured ENEL officials to manage to find buyers.

“There are many countries around the world where transformers of this model are still used,” he said. Note also that during this visit, the minister visited two other private companies.

These are EDIMED, which specializes in medicines and various medical devices, and Sarl Intiaz Ceram, which specializes in the production of porcelain. The performance of these two companies gave satisfaction to Ali Aoun.
