Une délégation de l’UNICEF visite une école pour enfants handicapés visuels à El Achour à Alger


A delegation from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) visited, on Sunday evening, a school for visually impaired children, located in El Achour (Algiers), during which the Algerian experience regarding the care of people with specific needs in the field of education and teaching, was presented.

Composed of the Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) office in Algeria, Katarina Johansson, the Regional Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for the Middle East and South Africa region North (MENA), Adele Khodr, as well as the Director General of Disability and Development of UNICEF, Gopal Mitra, the delegation inquired about the preparation of school children to take exams in different cycles as well as the different programs and equipment provided by the State, with a view to optimal care for this segment of society.
