Oum El-Bouaghi Two teachers cowardly attacked

While they were heading aboard a bus towards the school located in ”Mechta-El Manchar” in the commune of Ain-Babouche, wilaya of Oum El-Bouaghi, two teachers were the subject of ‘a cowardly attack by an individual who fled. According to initial information, one of the teachers was seriously injured in the left forearm by a bladed weapon used by the assailant. The second teacher was not injured but suffered post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The two teachers were evacuated to the Ain Babouche polyclinic where they had been taken care of by the medical and paramedical staff and by the doctors of this hospice.
Treatment was provided to the injured teacher, who required no less than 10 stitches. The victim was kept for several hours in the shock room while the other teacher was taken care of by a psychologist. On the instructions of the wali of Oum-El Bouaghi, a delegation led by the secretary general went to the Ain Babouche polyclinic. On site, the secretary general of the wilaya inquired about the state of health of the two teachers. After the care provided at this polyclinic, the two victims were referred to the ”Mohamed-Boudiaf” hospital in the capital of the wilaya Oum El Bouaghi. Certainly noting that the two teachers were taken care of correctly and had received adequate quality care, the doctors at Oum El-Bouaghi hospital would have judged that the transfer of the victims was not necessary, he said. we learned. The two teachers were, once again, re-evacuated to the Ain Babouche polyclinic where they received the necessary treatments and certificates before returning to their homes. For the moment, nothing has filtered out on the circumstances and the exact motive of this attack. As we go to press, the attacker remains on the run and is actively being sought.
