On the occasion of his visit to Tizi Ouzou, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, allocated a financial envelope of 274 billion dinars for the wilaya. This announcement was made, Thursday, by the president of the People’s Assembly of the Wilaya (APW), Mohamed Klalèche, during the ordinary session of the APW.
“Everything we asked the President of the Republic, he granted us,” he said, before reading the projects approved by the State. These are projects of the four EPH (public hospital establishments) for the benefit of the municipalities of Ouacifs, Ouaguenoun, Mekla and Béni Douala, which are under study before being launched soon, the faculty of medicine, the kidney hospital and the mother-child complex.”
The APW president also mentioned the industrial zones in difficulty which “now benefit from a substantial envelope for their commissioning as well as the creation of new zones”.
He also revealed that the work on the Ait-Chafaâ seawater desalination plant will be launched in 2025 and not in 2030 as initially planned.
He then highlighted the multiple operations dedicated to the public works sector such as the East-West highway, which benefited from a significant reassessment, and the doubling of the RN 24, as well as other projects included in the development register of the wilaya of Tizi Ouzou.
Mohamed Klalèche finally declared that “the visit of the President of the Republic to our wilaya is a bearer of hope and is above all fruitful for local development.”
