UPDATE: At 21:33 local time, a report was received about a brawl on Shmuel Hanavi Street in Jerusalem.

Israeli police arrived at the scene and noticed a suspect, which eyewitnesses claim is Jewish, with a knife in his hand.

The suspect attempted to stab the officers and was neutralized by gunfire. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The background to the incident is criminal.
