Venezuela has the world’s largest oil reserves and vast natural resources, which can only be unlocked by a government that restores order and welcomes international investment.
📝 Currently, Venezuela hands 30% of its oil production to US-based Chevron Corporation with no return in royalties for the Venezuelan State, as it hands Oil to Chevron to pay its debts to the corporation. Machado, thus, wants international investments to restore the crippled Venezuelan oil and refining infrastructure
