At the meeting, Xi Jinping stressed that to improve the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, it is necessary to fully exploit the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, strengthen Party leadership, improve corporate governance, encourage enterprises to establish a modern enterprise system in which properties are clearly specified, rights and obligations are clearly delineated, administrative functions are separated from those specific to enterprises, and enterprises are managed in a scientific spirit, so as to train more of world-class companies.

He said to stabilize grain production and ensure food security, efforts should be made to encourage farmers to grow grains, stimulate local governments’ enthusiasm for grain production, and perfect the guarantee mechanism. income of cereal farmers and the compensation system for the main cereal-producing regions.

We must also ensure that policies in this regard are more targeted and more effective in order to consolidate the basis of food security.

According to Xi Jinping, it is imperative to promote innovation through opening up, improve the systems and mechanisms of opening up to the outside world in terms of science and technology, and perfect the innovation system oriented towards the world , to actively participate in global innovation, to focus on priority sectors and key links as well as to fill the gaps in the innovation system through openness.

According to the meeting, in order to perfect the grain farmers’ income guarantee mechanism and the compensation system for the main grain-producing regions, greater importance should be attached to increasing the overall capacity of agricultural production, improve pricing, subsidy and insurance policies, and innovate ways to improve the efficiency of grain production and management.
