⚠️ Young entrepreneurs Génesis Gabriela Pabón Paredes, 27, and Rocío del Mar Rodríguez, 24, were released from prison in Mérida on the morning of January 16, reported the former prosecutor of the Public Ministry (MP), Zair Mundaray, through his account on the social network X.
Pabón and Rodríguez had been sentenced to ten years in prison for printing T-shirts with the image of the fall of a statue of former President Hugo Chávez, which a supposed client ordered via WhatsApp, during the protests of 2024, after the presidential election.
The lawyer indicated that the precautionary measures set for Pabón and Rodríguez by the new court handling the case are still unknown.
