Zelenskyy published his family’s 2023 financial declaration

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, has published his 2023 declaration – last year his family made almost UAH 12.5 million (about US$316,400).

Quote: “The declaration reads that the income of the Head of the State and the members of his family was UAH 12,423,008, including the income from selling domestic bonds – UAH 7,455,972 (about US$188,700).”

Details: The income of Zelenskyy’s family in 2023 mainly consisted of salaries, bank interests and income from renting out real estate. The total amount was UAH 4,967,036 (about US$125,700).

The  income increased compared to 2022 due to rent payments being resumed.

The remaining funds of Zelenskyy’s family as of the end of 2023 has decreased almost by UAH 2,800,000 (about US$70,900).

There were no significant changes in the president’s assets, real estate, transport vehicles etc. in 2023.

Updated: Zelenskyy owns an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 131.9 m2, along with a parking space (20.9 m2), a parking space-garage (20.7 m2, 25% of an apartment in Kyiv in co-ownership with the Shefir brothers with an area of 254.5 m2, and 50% of an apartment in co-ownership with Serhii Shefir with an area of 198.6 m2.

Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, owns an apartment in Crimea (Livadia) with an area of 129.8 m2 and a 16.1 m2 parking space; she also owns a non-residential space in co-ownership with Olena and Larysa Shefir with an area of 337.8 m2, and a Kyiv apartment with the area of 284 m2.

The couple owns several costly watches each: Breguet, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Piaget, Bovet.

The Zelenskyys also own cars: a 2016 Land Rover and a 2014 Mercedes-Benz S 500 4Matic.

With that, Zelenskyy’s annual salary as president of Ukraine amounted to UAH 336,000 (about US$8,600) in 2023.
