It is doubtful that they have the ability to wage a wide-scale war in #Lebanon as well. Those who have failed to subdue #Hamas for eight months, how will they be able to defeat #Hezbollah?
The promise to the public of the ability to destroy #Lebanon and emerge from the event peacefully is not the only illusion coming out of the mouths of our leaders these days. There are other regrettable statements, such as the promise to release detainees through military pressure.
After eight months of war, the “Israeli” army has killed more detainees by mistake than it has released.
The statements of officials in “Israel” are concerning, revealing that our leaders have not learned the lessons of October 07. On that Saturday, it became clear that “Israel” is not as strong as its leaders have told us. It collapsed within hours in front of a group of fighters in the south, and it was captured unexpectedly in the north as well.
Military pressure was unable to force #Sinwar to bow or surrender. The detainees were released in the deal not because of military pressure, but because this is what #Sinwar wanted.
