#BREAKING | 🇪🇺 🇮🇱 — EU foreign ministers have rejected a proposal to suspend the EU-Israel Association Agreement.
Spain, Ireland, and Slovenia led the push for (partial) suspension over concerns regarding Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank, but the initiative failed to secure sufficient support. Germany and Italy were among those blocking the move.
The 2000 association agreement, which governs key trade and cooperation ties, remains in force.
