British PM Sounds Alarm Over Suspected Iranian Plot to Strike U.S. Bombers
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham told Parliament Monday that it’s “highly likely” that Iran was behind the incident at RAF Fairford, the U.S. military base used to launch attacks on Iran. He also said that the IRGC was almost certainly behind the incident, which led to the arrest of seven men in connection with terrorism and explosives-related offenses. The U.S. and 28 other countries issued a joint statement condemning Iran for its violent attacks on foreign soil.
